Snowmobiling

Winter visitors to Mattawa Voyageur Country may find it easier to get around on a snowmobile than it is in a car. Hundreds of kilometres of world-class trails are spread across the area and are minutes away with direct access from Le Voyageur Inn, totally accessible right from our Inn’s free customer parking. After an exhilarating day of twists and turns, return to the warmth of Le Voyageur to thaw out and relax over a hot bowl of Thai soup or whatever hits the spot from our full menu of authentic Thai cuisine, not offered anywhere else in town. We offer snow and spice and everything nice. You’ll love it.

Mattawa is part of the Algonquin Snow Belt and experiences heavy dumps of snow that help the snowmobiling season last from December to April. The trails, fully accessible right from our door, will take you through the beauty of the vast snow-blanketed wilderness of Ontario’s Mattawa Voyageur Country. Fuel up and hold on tight as you explore kilometer after kilometer of adrenaline-pumping trails through the impressive Laurentian Mountains of Quebec. Or take a different route and discover the trails that lead west past Bonfield to North Bay and Lake Nipissing and beyond. For the really ambitious Snowmobiler, there is the four-day RAP Tour that loops around the perimeter of Algonquin Park. This tour is a true adventure and is a daunting 1000 kilometres long. Dress warmly and be prepared for an experience of a lifetime.

Le Voyageur Inn offers secure parking for your snowmobile.
